John Stewart - Walk On The Moon

Fantastisk låt och en fantastisk närvaro i det här klippet! John Stewart kunde som få andra skriva och framföra sina kompositioner alldeles avskalat och utan något tekniskt bjäfs. Ofta bara sin vemodiga och vackra (tycker jag) sång till eget gitarrkomp. Ibland lite sparsamt och återhållen orkestrering.

I klippet börjar han närma de 70 och sångrösten har sina tekniska svagheter men känslan är fantastisk. Han sjunger om förträngda och återhållna drömmar, drömmar som inte alltid blir verklighet för oss. Men drömmarna måste leva vidare även om vi på grund av omständigheter tvingas acceptera den livslott vi fått.
